You be the judge .

Wow. Only a builder would try something like that. Kudos to him for the taking the time to build something he would want to try.
Looks like something born from or caused by some of the rumour threads last spring. Lots of well thought out-experienced ideas and method.

Godda ask. More info please. Is this all done at home (what a well equipped shop to have at home) or does he work at a design place.

This guy's way of thinking is not limited to what the industry practices .

Here's a picture of the engine minus the exhaust from the pilots view point also check out the bar clamp , simple and ingenious .

I'd have to say if there are any of the manufactures that have seen this they've got to be having a fit if not ..... slapping each other .

don'y get me wrong i love out of the box builds and new strange ideas
but thats alot of spark plugs :face-icon-small-hap
hats off to ya keep the pics coming

let it snow

cool idea. snobike with sled power... take the zig-zaggy tree route with the bikes, or right up the middle with the sleds.

You've got to love this one , first glance and it's like this makes way to much sense , Do you see any nuts or bolt heads ? Smooth as silicone valley , not sure if there's an aftermarket suspension company that's even dialed into that one .

It get's better , the suspension is a boondockers dream machine . So a machine is set up to climb the steep and deep but what happens when you want to come back down ? play in some bowls ? huck some cornices ? or even in transport to the secret spot ? It's been addressed , the suspension can be coupled and uncoupled from the handle bar .......... put that in your peace pipe and smoke it .

Who ever thought that the exhaust outlet on the bottom side of the belly pan on a mountain machine was a really bad idea ?

So that's why all the videos of boondocking are to one side .

how did he do the coupling and un coupling? skinz has a kit that puts a bike rear shock in to do the same, either by cable or electronically.

Thats it? Come on. A few spy photos and posts of how well designed it is, and we can't even get one semi action photo or even a video of it idling in the driveway?

this is going to derail this thread but.......ive heard these new 450s need rebuilds constantly?

in a word, no. ive put alot of hours on 4 stoke mx bike (used to race) i changed my oil every 5ish hours riding mx along with air filter and oil filter every other. my 250f yamaha had 120 hrs on it when i put a piston in it and didnt notice much of a power difference, and more than that on my 12 kx450f and never changed the piston. its all about maintenance. and this was on dirt, id imagine maybe the load is higher on the motor in snow, but no dirt

check out the bar clamp , simple and ingenious .

That's a ready made mountain bike stem on a 1.5" steering post.

Good stuff. No need to reinvent the wheel. I wonder how the stem length feels on a contraption like that since you're not directly steering a fork with raked wheel in it.

That whole project is pretty neat. How does the suspension 'self couple?'
