I had the miss fortune of lower snow conditions and caught a rock with the right side of my tunnel and bent the aluminum brace and cracked the carbon fiber. There was no flaw on yetis end just a miss fortune.
My question is what should I expect to spend to get a new tunnel? 2016 129.

Thanks for your help.

When C3 still owned em it was $1000 CAD if you had a 16. After that free lifetime warranty. 17+ have a more aggressive looking stance too and honeycomb construction. Who knows what the frenchies will do for ya. Good luck! Camso has been a nightmare for me.

Tunnel issues

Bent the brake/ bearing support bracket a few times and cracked or damaged the carbon beside. Put new bracket on and gorilla glue carbon. Not perfect but holds. New carbon is available but pricey even on owner of exchange program.

Thanks for the information. The crack is about 12 inches long up behind the rotor then a hard 90 back to the front of the bike above the bend above the rotor.

I have also heard of titanium plate and epoxy. But where the crack is to get the right bend could be hard

I've seen this identical crack on another kit. You mind telling us how it happened? If you do the exchange for 1000cad you will get the newer honeycomb tunnel, and a lifetime warranty.

You could always do some research on carbon fiber repair, buy som epoxy/fabric and such.

Vee groove the crack, epoxy it, layer fabric and epoxy top coat both inside and out.

Seems like it could end up stronger than original.
