the 10 inch track with the 6 tooth drivers will suck in deep powder . Update to the new 7 tooth drivers and approach angle is shallower.will climb on top much better than ewers no matter what settings ewe have,,,

If you get to new drivers on the 2018 SS is the brake caliper the same. it looks like they're split now which would solve the icing problem

Yes, the SS went from a 6 tooth 5.2" dia. driver in 2018 to a 7 tooth 6.1" driver in 2019. The 2019 drivers are spaced apart so they do not ice up in some conditions and they have extravert drive. They can be installed on the 2018 SS units. You can also do the new brake rotor and brake snow shields at the same time. We can provide all of the parts here at RMS MX 720-263-7533

I was so unhappy with the 2018 ss performance between the Frozen drivers and Frozen brakes that my dealership ordered the parts to upgrade the brakes and drivers to the 19 at no cost. Now when I put the 19 drivers on should I move the front arm back into the middle position?
