Yeti official launch video

Have to say it looks awesome, will be thumbing through the site more as I get time. Already snow checked, so I am out on that one for now, but honestly impressed, can't wait to see more comparisons.

I really like the higher tech look and style, aluminum and titanium pieces etc.

The bumper pull test video is impressive also. They put more than 1000 pounds (1100+ Pounds) of up force on it and the Carbon fiber took it all and did not fail! Everything went right back to the original shape! Check it out! it is obvious that they have tested this to ensure durability and do not expect to have any warranty claims.

I was one of those guys who said the gen 1 was fugly when I saw it at the Edmonton show. Honestly at the time we didn't give it a whole lot of attention but when you look at where these guys are at now you can see they've been hard at it. IMO it makes the TS look primitive.

We started a ride with Kevin last season in Sicy but the group was way too big and we got split up so I didn't get a chance to ride the kit which is a drag, hopefully this season. When we did get a hold of Kevin on the radios they were on their way back out as one of the kits had had a suspension failure. One thing for sure is they did ride them until they broke them and didn't try to cover up the failure but instead were right up front in saying this or that piece failed and needs to be improved.

Bolting that to my CR500 will be all I need, forget about turbos and all that crap, been there done that. Simple, light, reliable and efficient. I'd rather sink some money into a great kit than have a brand new bike every year, hell my bike is 23 years old, LOL.

Gonna be a tough act to follow.

I'm thinking the Yeti on EFI E-Start CR500 would the best for performance, reliability, longevity, ease of maintenance, and cheapest to maintain.

Sorry this is off topic, but it is my dream snowbike.

One of my most favorite days on snow last year. Got 3 days on this buggy and I can totally vouch for the fact these guys took the entire 27 months to develop the product. Sure they had plans to launch last year but unlike a lot of companies who release a product and let the end user develop and work out the "kinks", they elected to evaluate the entire winter and improve their product to what it is today.
Congrats on the launch guys. Its everything you had envisioned.

I also have to say the kit looks amazing ! Jaimie and Kevin are so passionate about it. I love the fact they share info and explain how they get to their final product. Some serious testing went into every aspect of the Yeti. If you have any reservations about the Yeti give Jaimie a call, he will be more than happy to explain it all with great detail ! Congrats Yeti !

U should move that to the 500 thread. Good luck on the 625. Hope u have deep pockets !

I scooped a ski mid season and in the powder if floats like nothing else, you can turn in fresh like you are on train tracks, very good trail manners but in the spring had some issues in crust snow. Yeti boys got on top of it and let me in on some mods they were doing and bingo all good.

Now if we can just get you Southerners to pronounce Yamaha the way the Japanese do, after all it is THEIR word, I think they have the proper oratory, as do we.

When I listen to the video it reinforces "capulin overdrive's" pronunciation, rather than adding credibility to your's. FWIW Back to topic

You Canuck's are tone deaf from listening to too many Eh's. You are so used to hearing the "A" sound you are inserting it where it does not belong............................................LOL
