Yeti front ski mount set up pure garbage?

What are your failed part numbers? lets see if the claims made can be substantiated? If in fact you have the correct parts then your claim is valid, But posting failure's without taking ownership is just wrong if a mistake was made during installation.

so my claim is valid... now what?

PS: it wasnt the center spacer that failed... it was the center carbon fiber piece. part number posted in the first post.

Your spacers are missing the D1 which means they are not the correct ones. Your claim that the correct parts were used is NOT valid.

To my knowledge; The YPSP 1027 (no suffix) spacers are used with the older YPSP 1815 ( no suffix) center blade. Unless someone “in the know” at Camso / Yeti can prove otherwise.

Not sure how that would make any difference as they fit in there perfectly. I am dirtbiking in Moab for another week. When I’m home I’ll take a pic of the Center blade to see if it has the d1. Id email Camso about it but they’re a complete joke and won’t reply till June when I’ve went to timbersled.

Also. Is this written or mentioned anywhere on the Camso or yeti site or have you had a Camso or yeti employee confirm this in writing??

We've cracked two center blades one on a 16 yeti and the other 18 129ss. One bent the fork tubes when it went. They have a breaking point, should be made a bit stronger. The snowtech spindle is the stoutest spindle out there.

Companies typically denote design changes with add on/revision codes like D1. Sometimes the changed part can be radically different then the part it replaces. I'm not saying they are different but usually there is a reason for revision numbers.

Call Camso don't email, they have been awesome in my dealings. My dealer gave me the wrong fit kit for my camso kit. Two minutes on hold and I had a product support specialist on the phone who knew his **** and walked me through everything, gave me the correct parts and the correct specs in case I wanted to machine my own part. Also a good dealer should be able to get you the info on the parts you need, no real need to talk to the manufacturer unless your dealer is closed like mine was at the time.
