Yamaha YZ450FX Timbersled Fitment Chart

I just received my firment kit from my dealer to mount a 2015 Timbersled 137 mountain horse to a 2016 Yamaha YZ450FX and it did not come with the fitment chart. No instructions on where to install all the spacers and bushings. Also, it is a fixed strut kit, which is what I ordered, but comparing to the pictures on Timbersled's website it appears that all the spacers and bushings, etc, look like the ones for the TSS and not for the TFS while the strut included in the box is the fixed strut. Does anyone know where to obtain a fitment chart for this application or have pictures of an install on the same bike?

C'mon Polaris

Seems the transfer of the "business " to the Poo side has somewhat weakened their customer service ... Lets call it, growing pains,,,, ?..

I am still waiting for my TSS fit kit, hopefully there won't be any issues....

I don't think they will enjoy the "ANGRY" Winger.......

Time will tell, but so far they are not doing well...

I spent over an hour today at the dealership with my fit kit and they had no idea what sequence or order all of the bushings are supposed to be installed. They finally found the fitment chart for my bike and it satisfactoriy showed the location for the bushingsa and spacers for the sub frame assembly because each of the spacers has a stamped number on them that corresponds to where they are supposed to be installed from the chart. However, the parts for the front spindle mounting do not have numbers stamped on them even though the chart shows part numbers so you can determine location. It was finally determined that Polaris made a decision not to include installation instructions or the fitment chart in the fit kits when they are sent out. They also decided to include extra parts just in case the fit kit could be used for multiple bikes but didn't include any instructions as to which parts should be used for which bike. I got so frustrated I finally just walked out. If you call the Timbersled number it just tells you to contact your dealer and then hangs up on you. But in this case the dealer didn't know squat about the fitment. All they could do was look up the parts by part number but couldn't help me beyond that. One of the parts guys got on the phone with Polaris and was on hold for over twenty minutes and I left before he was able to talk to anyone.

:face-icon-small-winHopefully by the time I get my kit you guys will have it figured out.
I ordered the fit parts for my FX about it week and a half ago. Pain in the arse. I should've ordered the entire fit kit because we spent about a week trying to figure out just what parts I needed. I didn't want the front end stuff because I'm running a Mototrax front end (which i was told would ship in mid to late oct. but hasn't shown up yet either). Super frustrated right now, but trying not to think about it because we don't have any snow anyway. But that is unusual for us. Many years we have a ton of snow right now and I would be flipping out. I wish these companies would get their **** together.

I'm not too upset at Mototrax because I know they are new and have other orders to fill. I ordered my front end in late August.
This is just absolutely ridiculous about timber sled though. Come on Polaris pull your head out.

Hey Guys,

I may not be the fastest reply in the world but I would be happy to answer any questions I can.

I will say that the only difference between TSS and TFS kits for most bikes the the inclusion of the shock and pump or a strut rod. All reducers should be the same. I'm sure there are some outlyers on this so don't quote me on that 100% that said I can say this is true of a 2016 450FX.

As far as the instruction PDF I am happy to send it over to anyone just shoot me a message.

Do you have the fitment chart in a readable format? If so I would really appreciate that.

I like the little gum wrapper in the box of parts that says "Please reference Fitment Tables available by visiting Timbersled.com". BS! Spent 20 minutes on that useless site.

So here is an update on my situation. I finally found the fitment chart for my Yamaha - someone sent it to me because as the other poster states above, you can't find anything on the TS website except for an outdated chart. What i found out is that there is a separate chart for every specific brand of bike. I'll post it if I can figure out how. Also, it has been determined that for my bike I need to use a timbersled made axle that came with my kit instead of my bike's factory axle. Problem is, the new axle has an inside threaded hole that is supposed to accept a bolt that is supposed to be included in the kit. Guess what, no bolt or lock washer or aluminum washer were included in the kit when it was packed. The dealer looked up the packing list that sure enough shows that those parts were supposed to be included in the bag when it was packed. I also checked my friends kit, who has the exact bike I have, and his kit was also missing the same parts as mine. Evidently, when the parts were pulled at the warehouse to pack in the kit, some parts were missed. This would't have happened before Polaris took over. And the parts can't be ordered separately because the individual parts that are in the bag do not have part numbers - the whole bag is a part number with an associated packing list for that part number. The dealer couldn't figure out how to order the individual parts.
