Looking for a sled for my 13 year old she had a 340 and likes the feel and ride of my RMk but I cant find a 600 144 with the raw chasis so I was looking at the Yamaha Phazer MTX 144 never ridden one was wondering how they handle carving ect. are they easy to roll up on its side like the RMK? I have seen a few for sale and was just wondering. Thanks

The Phazer is a great little sled that handles well for the beginner rider or smaller riders. It carves very easily, easy to ride down the trail, comparible in weight to 5 and 600cc size sleds, awesome on fuel and cheap to own. With that said its a very rider forward sled, personal preference if you like that or not but most do, and 80hp isnt alot but plenty for most beginners or smaller people.

There were a few recalls on the early 07's but were easy little fixes like, ball joints, snow block off and ecu update. Like you mentioned, there is alot for sale and usually can find good deals on one. My gramps has one with over 17k miles on it and still going strong. If you do decide on getting one let me know and i can run the vin and do any and all recalls that are applicable to it. (free to you)

One of the mechanics I work with up here (Prudhoe) has one and he says his wife and kids took his over, they love it. He said it is soo reliable and easy for them to start and ride. He has piece of mind when they are on it, especially out in BFE. I haven't ridden one myself though, hope this helps. The thought (getting one) crossed my mind for my wife, I don't like worrying about issues with my girl.

THanks for the input I will start looking for one my daughter is only 100 lbs soak and wet so it should be plenty for he now. She does like the rider forward of my RMK. thanks again I appreciate it
