Yamaha Announces Major Options for 2011 Nytro MTX

Yamaha announced at a press conference today at Hay Days exclusive power options for 2011 Yamaha Nytro MTX models.

A Push Turbo and MPI Supercharger system will be available through Yamaha dealers later this fall. Both systems will produce 180 horsepower and feature factory presets that eliminate user tuning.

Both the Push Turbo system and MPI Supercharger system are designed for 6,000-ft and higher elevation applications.

Both systems are priced at under $4,000 USD.

Yamaha also announced an optional rear suspension kit for the Nytro MTX that reduces the weight by approx. 25 pounds.

Lowest bidder/Highest profit margin for the manufacturer???

.....yes, but we don't know what has been going on behind closed doors as far as negotiations, R & D, Testing, etc. but, there obviously has been MUCH activity!

Should be interesting to see how this plays out for both Yamaha, it's customers and Push.

that doesnt sound any different than what AC has been doing with BD turbos and the Burandt addition RTR sleds. sled comes to dealer in stock form, if customer wants the "RTR" set up then the sled gets built in the shop if authorized, or sent to BD for the custom work over. still not a factory turbo with factory warranty. looks like the only warranty is the turbo warranty and no factory warranty?
