Yakima Ski-Benders 10/4/2011 at the El Rincon in Yakima
If you are a snowmobiler in Central Washington, please consider joining the Yakima Ski-Benders!
We are a pro-active group that is involved at all levels in keeping our sport thriving in Washington State.
Our functions include our December Crab Feed, January Little Naches Bucket Run, Ahtanum Breakfast (March) and Summer Cleanup weekend. We also have numerous club rides throughout the season
. We also due several smaller events during the season. Our meetings are fairly social and a lot of fun. We are a family friendly group, also.
Our riding and area access is a constant struggle against opposing special
interest groups and government wilderness
proposals. The Ski-Benders have always had an active involvement in fighting
for our rights. Ski-Bender members currently hold 2 of the 4 top level positions in WSSA. Frankly, our club needs membership to help uphold our rights to pursue the sport we love.
I encourage you to attend our meetings (they are mostly fun, really
) and help support our sport and our community. Our dues are modest, and well worth the small cost.
Our meetings are held the first Tuesdays of each month at the El Rincon near the intersection of North 40th and Fruitvale Blvd. Our meetings start at 7pm, a lot of us eat there before hand.
We hope to see you there!
Thank you,
Tampico
