Yakima area riding

What access points should I use for good riding in the Yakima area? Which areas have the best riding? Boondocking? Alpine areas?

Never been down that way but the maps look good, as well as some of the past pics posted on here.

Tampico has the best snow right now. Take Ahtanum Rd. West until you come to a "Y" where there is a fire station and market. Take the road to the right and stay on for about 10 miles. Where the pavement ends continue for another 1/4 mile and take a left. That will lead you to the snowpark. There is a bunch of great riding. I would look at a topo map and mark some spots on your GPS that look good. Klickitat meadows has some good riding and if you have GPS you can find the roads that will get you there easily. I would look for areas such as Diamond Lake and Cirque Lake if you head towards Klickitat Mdws.
