Y Pipe AND Can on 08 M1000 with reflash without Fuel Controller?

2008 M1000 with reflash. I ride 8-10,000 feet. Has anybody tried running a Y Pipe and Can on this setup without a fuel controller? A fuel pressure regulator?

mine is a 08 m10, 2300miles...

stock motor-09 reflash--bdx intake, y, stock pipe, and skinz can.

always had a low-end bog, always...added controller, -1 bottom to mid, added 2 on top.....runs flawless on 85-86 oct at 10k, unload at 8k climb to 10k and ride all day.

if ya still have the ti pri spring, pm me and i'll save ya ton's of heartache....

08 M1000 with update Timbersled intake, Mbrp can, Slp Y pipe and dual Koso regular egts no controller. Has seen a max temp of 1150 - 1200 but only ridden it at low elevation so far this year. Will be heading to the mountains next week and do some more testing. So far so good.

What kind of fuel pressure are you running?

been running mine for 2 years without controller.never see over 1100 on kosos.might add controller to take fuel away.

If you are going to do it, then run EGT's so you can see what your temps are. You will know pretty quick if you need a fuel controller or regulator.
