any reports on how the xtreme cold air intake works on a XP?

The pvc coated mesh material is probably just textilene, or dog proof window screen from home depot. Skip the perforated aluminum, and just use the mesh.

i cannot believe how many different people try to sell vents. there must be 10 places you can get vents for your rev or xp. i wouldn't think the market would be large enough for all these.

JMHO I put on the Timbersled system and the space it frees up in the engine area alone was worth it. Only have 88 miles on it ,so far so good. Did not re jet, but it has not been that cold yet. I also remove every piece of plastic holder/bracket/cover that I can. I can't believe the sh!t they cram in there. I got my kit from team2motorsports for $230. to the door

The thing i can't believe about all these vent companies is you cannot buy just a clutch side kit. They want you to buy all these kits that include the right side vents. All i want is the left side for the clutches. That would keep the cost down and then maybe a guy could spend the money on these overpriced units. Like really, how hard is it ?

if you scroll down on this page you will see that they do just sell one side if you choose. Just saw this when checking out this thread.

The problem I see with the airbox screan is that it doesnt adress the lorgest restriction in the XP intake system. The tube that connects the upper airbox and the lower airbox is the most restrictive point and needs to be adressed. Also that screen on the gage pod will almost always be covered with snow, at least where I ride it wil. So IMO not worth the money. Saw them on ebay a few weeks ago.
