xrs track change out...... Help!!!

As you may have seen I am changing my track on my xp to a camo extreme. My dad owns an '07 xrs 159" and his track is spent. Im going to install my challenger lite 163" 2.86" pitch on his xrs.

I know they (brp) makes drivers in a 2.86" pitch for his drive shaft but what i need to know what to do with the excess lenth. 159" to a 163" track.

Thought about going with an offset axle and going with a big wheel kit.

If this will work, what size wheels and who makes the axle???

If anyone has pics of this being done please post.

Thank you!

offset axle and 8 inchers and you will probably be fine, the offset axle usually allows around and inch or so of setback which takes up around 2 inches of extra track, plus the extra diameter of an 8 or 9 inch wheel takes up another 1-2 inches, so you should be good, as i doubt you had your track tensioner maxed out.

Just measure carefully and drill new holes about 1.75" back and move the whole skid back... Worked great on my old '07 when i went from 159" to 162" (moved skid back 1.5") - actually improved the handling as well, less ski lift...

But if you insist on spending money buy the big wheels...:D
