I canceled my order. That’s been on the back of my mind, lol. I’m just pissed that all my ski bolts were loose again! I got hosed last time too. Ski bolt falls out high on the trail head. Two sleds in a row really has one wondering WTF are they doing in that shop! Rant over. When you blow up your turbsky skidoo will answer that question for you!!
They just know they gotcha. It’s only a hundred dollars a year more to know that isn’t going to be an issue on a warranty claim.Have never seen an oil analysis done on any of the past failures i had ,but who knows everyone gets unlucky some time .If the use of BRP oil was completely important the other oil companies would not be selling oil for snowmobile applications you wouldn't think
Just saying dont give them any reason to deny a claim. If there is a loophole they will take it.I canceled my order. That’s been on the back of my mind, lol. Check into the quicksilver oil made by mercury outboards. We couldn't get etec oil and boss started looking around. Turns out our mercury outboards just came out with a fully synthetic 2stroke oil that meets every spec of brp. He called brp and warranty is still valid using this oil so we ordered a bunch of it. I think we pay like 25 a gallon so I'd imagine retail is in the low 40's. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it's something to look at. Mercury has been in the oil business a long time. I can get a part number next week when I'm back in town
