XP renegade mountain set up questions ?

I have an 08 600 renegade .I am going to Cooke in January. Looking for tips for the suspension set up. Do I lengthen the limiter strap a hole ?
Should I losen or tighten rear suspension springs ? I know to losen front shock springs.

The biggest favour you can doo for yourself is purchase a rear scissor from a summit. They are not coupled, and will provide much better weight transfer. Then you can properly ajust from there. Coupling blocks work well on the trail, not so hot in the fluff.

I am from Minnesota so I do not want to replace the rear scissor. Any other advice ?

Not much you can do to it that is going to help you go in the deep, I would just say get on it and LEAVE IT PINNED!!!

You want to snug up you limiter strap & tighten up your rear springs for powder. Keeps your aproach angle small.

I would think letting the strap out would be better. That would give you more track in the snow and less ski pressure. Am I right or wrong ? Any other opinions ?
