Here are a couple of pics of some quick connects for my 09 xp. You need 2 m6*50 bolts (10.9 grade). 2 m6 nuts and flat washers, and 2 1/8 hair pins.

Drill a 1/8 hole 35 mils from threaded end of bolt and cut off head so bolt is 41 mils long, Remove the stock bolts and use the locking nut to hold these in place. Work great and cost about $3.00 dollars to make.

studboy I just drove in 11 miles to the harware store in a blizzard. I can tell you those are not M6 bolts. M6 bolts are smaller than 1/4 inch. Was going to go sledding but this storm hit and decided to make a set of these quick release. Also the M6 *50 are threaded all the way. Can you get us the right bolt combination on this?
Thanks

They are M6, and you can get ones that are threaded all the way and ones that aren't, your store may not carry both. The store here didn't have 10.9 in 50 length only 8.8 but they had 10.9, 6 x 40 and they will work too. I haven't drilled the holes yet (got to use bro's drill press tomorrow), so for now I just took both sides completely off and drilled two small holes and zip tyed the aluminum bar bracket up to the bellypan on pto side so it isn't flopping. I'll try it this way and see if I even put the quick connectors on. Most say once you disconnect you'll end up leaving it. Hope to put the first mile on the sled this week.:D

Xrider what store did you buy at? I went to Ace. We can't possibly drill an 1/8 hole in that small of bolt. So I am guessing the hair pin is not 1/8 inch but smaller.

Yeah, I thought the same but I think there's enough meat to drill a 1/8" hole. Rock Hand Hardware.

I just picked up some hairpins from the hardware store and just eyeballed them for size. They'll fit a 5/64" hole instead of 1/8", looks like they'll work perfect.
