I used wd40 and then a little carb cleaner on the really stuborn stuff, looks pretty good.

Paint'em up

Just got mine back from the body shop. Base coat clear coat in black. They look awesome!!! They used some type of paint that adheres to vinyl and is supposed to be durable, we'll see........ I'll send pic's later.

tried to pm ya, but you're not receiving - yet.... it was actually my sled that Slim boogered up (this is his wife). What I really want is all black anyway, so I'd really like to hear more about your paint job. Was it many $$$$? What did they use. I'd like to know how it holds up after a few rides.

thanks for the tips, Slim picks up his XP tomorrow, he'll be sure not to make the same mistake again. hhhmmmm, maybe I should just switch panels with him. Do ya think those old eyes would notice???

Id be suprised if those old eyes can figure out who's sled is who's in the garage, let alone which side panels he has...

I REALLY want black side panels for this girl, someone must be planning on making them? The slate looks ok but my last few sleds have been black with more black - lol

Tunnel Polish

Did you use anything special to wax the tunnel? Chrome Polish?

I use a polish called NEVER DULL..Comes in a little silver can what is filled with a cotton gauze what is covered with polish. Works awesome and repels snow and water..
