Xp P85

Allright i need to know what kind of p85 is the best for the xp I have been looking at them and there are a couple of diffent kinds and i am not sure what one works the best on the xp Thanks

Forged HD P-85 from a 800 twin. I would get it tapered by Micro Belmont (ver few places have the correct equipment to do it correctly). And have it spin balanced. You will still nhave a huge increase in vibration as it is alot lighter than the TRA. I have run a P-85 on a 800R and ended up going back to a TRA, was able to get as good of results and less vibration.

I've been running one on my 800HO all season and never have had a vibration issue. Got tired of dealing with the TRAs little fits. Micro Belmont does a good job and very precise. I know Crankshop cuts them too but I don't personally know anyone that has had them do the cutting. Precision Performance in Idaho Falls did mine but you have to be stern with them and tell them how you want it done for belt alignment issues. Hope this helps ya.

Ditto!!

Running 2 P85's, one on an 05 and one on an 06, both 800 Summit 800's.
Second season on the 06 and 1st full year on the 05. Not much more vibes then the TRAIII's. Actually they work real good! Other then setting them up early in the season I haven’t touched either one since!
Used the P85 on my 07 Summit one season.
The 800R with the P85 will for sure vibrate allot more without a doubt!
Broke a primary spring because of it but, I haven't needed to replace rollers, bushings, etc, etc all the time like the TRA7 and it has always ran consistent. That was a biggie for me!
