You're gonna love this... After all the handwarmer problems BRP came out with a fix right? Wrong.. Well my dealer just told me today when I was there to drop off my sled to get fixed that apparently BRP is recalling all the new handwarmers....:face-icon-small-sho What!!??? A recall on a recall... HAHAHAHAHA.. OMG.. LMFAO.. Are they firing the people responsible for these million dollar Fuk ups..? I'll live without handwarmers for a while I just hate wasting my time driving my sled to the dealer when they asked me to and them have them tell me,, opsss I forgot the mention we have no good parts. I gather there is no ETA on the new parts and they have to be remade:eek: thought I'd fill ya all in...:face-icon-small-win

That sucks, glad mine are still working... guessing they will go on me any time now though. Hopefully the fix will be Chromoly bars.... doubt they'll do that though.

I put on atv after market that looked just like the factory stick ons with out the loop on the hook. I have about 200 miles on them and they work great only 25 bucks and 30 min and I have warm hands.

easy, use your compressor to blow air into the end and they blow up to loosen. with air on just slide on or off.

Use an air compressor and blow into the hole on the end of the grips and pull, be carefull not blow the grip up like a balloon by blowing a little and pulling. It helps to have some one help.

got my updated hand warmers on Friday, and by the end of the day on Saturday, they were barley working on high. Without a glove, you could feel they were warm, but not putting out enough heat to do anything. They worked great for about an hour or so. Other than that the sled ran like a raped ape again.

My handwarmers are cold between 6-7 thousand rpm. This is were I run the beast up the road for 12 miles to get to the fun stuff. Then when we start climbing and running hard they get hot. Hot obove 7500 rpms. Then on the way home they are really hot with less rpms. Hot between 5-6 thousand. makes no sense to me. I'am always turning them up and down.

I looked at those heaters and they only have 2 wires, the revs had 3 for low qnd high so does the the XP have only 2? . When you remove the grips are they still in one piece to reuse?

Dealer said the new ones are shipping 1/5 and he should have by the 10th. Does this sound right or is it more brp (Building Recalled Products) bs?
