Don't own one but there is an article on the Snowest homepage that said Doo is warranting the gear change. If this is allready posted. Sorry for the dual post

will they change the gearing on a 163 for free?
the article only talks about 146s and 154s
I was going to try a 20, is anybody running 19 or 20s on a 163?
how do they work?
the owners manual says 19/45 for a 163 but they actually came with a 21/49
which is about the same gear ratio
I'm very happy with 19/49 in my 163. You'll want to switch to a 104 pitch chain. My clutches are cooler, and it finally got my rpms to hold on a steep, deep climb. 80 mph is still plenty fast for me....

did you get it changed over for free or did you just do it yourself
NOPE
BRP is only warrantying gear change on 146. Any other BRP Bulletins floating around stating anything different are counterfeit. At least that is the case in Canada.
Just picked up sled from dealer and found out I had to pay for gear change to 19t on my 154. They said they have had a few people bring in phony BRP bulletins wanting warranty.
Just a heads up. If your dealer covered it you got lucky.
The guys I deal with have been really good to me in the past so have to trust what they say is true.
