XP full shift out?

BRP put a spacer in the primary to prevent full shift out. It's located inside the spring housing. It is supposed to prevent the sheaves on the primary from actually touching each other during full shift out. I know some trail XP guys are removing the spacer to get some extra shift out and top end performance. I am running a Summit 154 XP and wondering of you mountain guys are also doing the same thing? Thanks.

maybe some day my dealer will get the smaller top gears and then this will actually become an issue. until then, my belt will never get close to the top of the primary.

Thanks for the heads up on this.
