XP Driveshaft Replacement

I was told it was a warrenty deal. But i do buy 2 new sleds from them every year. I ran the 09 clutches on my last two rides before they took them back. trust me everyone will like the new setup. my stock one could not keep up 4 sled lenghts in 500 feet. They were very close before that.

Care to enlighten us on the 09 clutch setups, spring, helix, etc.?

They put them on and took them off. Rode with them for two days. Up in Canada about the middle of april. I will have the sled back middle of august with new setups can let you know then. Also redo your computer get the rpm back. Makes a big difference on top end.

We are putting a hollow shaft inside the stock Ski Doo shaft. We are rosette welding the stock shaft as specified by Ski Doo. The additional shaft is rosette welded and then welded at each end. This is a fail safe design. The stock Ski Doo welds can let go on the chain case side and the new shaft will carry the load to the clutch side. With the stock drive shaft all the power has to go through one set of welds on the chaincase side to turn the drivers, now the power can be split evenly on both sides. See picture. I'm thinking the machined part will be $75 and if you want us to install it another $75. You can send you shaft to Avid Products, 3656 East Lakeshore, Whitefish, Montana 59937. If I order just the machined part can you send directions that I can take to local welding shop so as they can weld it up properly? Would like to get one ordered up let me know if the shafts are available yet.
