XP Driveshaft recall question

I got a call from my dealer that my driveshaft is in! I have an appt. on Friday to get the recall taken care of.

Has anybody else gotten the call already? I am stoked that I am getting taken care of so soon!

PJ, I chatted with Xtreme, they have a list and are calling people to schedule the switch out. Should be in Oct sometime. Do you know of anyone in Colorado that's had a problem with the shaft?

I know that Xtreme hasn't had any failures on the sleds that they have sold. I did hear of one failure from Felkers, can't remember who said it.

Good to hear that some are showing up. My dealer in North Idaho is not expecting them until mid November.

I know that Xtreme hasn't had any failures on the sleds that they have sold. I did hear of one failure from Felkers, can't remember who said it.

I love my 08 XP Best sled ever..... BUT the lack failures you are talking about is BS. We all know of the axle problem in 08. DOO will be replacing all of them. Both dealers have had MANY broken axles.

My X dealer said there are 63 ahead of me. I asked them about the recall before they even were aware of it. They said to call in a few weeks so I did now there is a list? Some dealers are so messed up it's sad. They said they might get to it in mid December, I said I have a trip planned for the first week of December. They said just ride it it didn't break on you last year? WTF? I'm all done with them, love the sled though so I need to find a new dealer any suggestions would be appreciated.
