Has anyone ever seen reverse on an XCR 800 ?? I'm wondering if Polaris ever made a reverse kit for the XCR ??

any reverse kit for the 96-98 model xcr/ultra/storm should be able to bolt on. they basically go by chain case.
the only reason i wouldnt run reverse is that you are limited to gear ratios. some people say that the reverse has a hard time staying together on the xcr's because of the power and speed of the sled.
i have heard of lots of people getting rid of the reverse when they bought a used xcr, never heard of anyone adding it.

Yes they make a reverse. I had one on a 2000 XCR 800 with a 144 2inch track .It worked good,no problems. I geared it down,no problems.
