Wyoboy steering mod on the Alpha?

Problem I had with it on my 18 is at full lock one direction, the tie rod would hit the shock. And with a hard ski hit will bend the tie rod easily. Had to take the washer under the nut out to gain a tad more clearance. I didnt put it on either of my 19s and am not really missing it. I never had a tie rod issue on my 16 though...

I have one on a 2019 twin rail, rode first season with stock steering, switched to wyoboy/kmod steering arm last season,it adds alot more steering to much in my opinion the skis will turn more than handlebar,so i milled bolt hole toward steering arm center 4mm(+11mm vs +15mm)and welded washer on one side and locknut on other side,
with this mod to kmod arm its turns 1-1 skis and handlebars like a pro rmk,
made new steering rods in 15mm solid 7075 aluminium adds clearence and strenght,
had clearence issue with lower a-arm so added extra washers between right spindle and ball joint.

I looked into it but personally find the Alpha needs less countersteer than the twin rail. You can easily wash it out with too much countersteer in stock form so don't really need more.

My cousin just bought an alpha and he rode ours last year and he is only 14 so he doenst have the strength. does this make a big difference on how easy it turns to? do you have pics? PM me if needed. TIA

Not sure if its harder to steer with kmod steering arm but its not easier than stock,
this mod is great for sidehilling confidence,if you feel rear end is watching out you can catch it with countersteer,if your sidehilling and want to go down lower in short distance its possible this takes a long distance with stock steering,
for lighter steering go with polaris gripper skis, for really light steering get a rmk khaos.

The alpha needs it more than the mc to recover from wash out since it can panel out easier.
Not sure some have clearance issues and some don't.
But can still make the sled work without it.
In stock form its on the edge of just enough steering.
But I still prefer it, although like previously said it's almost too much. It needs to be turned down a touch.
Hopefully this year I'll get time to completely redo the steering to a direct post and ditch all the links.

You should offer 1 arm +15mm for 12-15 spindle and 1 +11mm for 2016+ spindle.
