Wyo Trails,what did you think?

The Lander trails and our part of the CDST were very poor this season. trail marking was late and then poor, grooming was WAY late and then poor. All in all it may have been a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. I am not trying to start a contest, I just really would like to know what everyone thought about their riding area. If it was good, say so and if it was bad, say so too. An awful lot of the great people here will just never gripe about anything but they also will put with a lot of crap when they are paying for something better. I really hope the other areas were better than this one. Thanks, Wolf

Here in Laramie, the marking was a bit late but good. Grooming was decent, it would start off awesome on friday, decent on saturday, horrible on sunday; but what more would a person expect with the sheer volume of sleds traveling the trails?

Would have liked to have seen more grooming on the weekend, more/better warming huts, a little... stronger... state presence would have been nice too. I would say a 5.5 out of 10 because of all the little things that got old after a few months.

I'm sure there will be more posts after mine b!tching about how bad the grooming was.

compared to last year, the Snowies this year was 100% better. I'm sure that the extra snow helps. Would help to have extra grooming on the weekends?

The grooming got better as the season went on.
It was MUCH improved over last year. I just can't understand why they can have Togwotee groomed every night and we are lucky if we get twice a week.

a week ago, you could set your clock to the groomer. Every nite we where there, he was at the intersection of T & U at 8 pm

Over presidents weeken when we were snowmobiling the trails at togwotee they were really rough so we hardly went on the trail, when we did go on the trail you couldent go fast or else you would break something.
