Wtf Why? Senseless Act!!!!

Why would anyone slash our sled seats with sharp object which appears to be a pocket knife last night in front of BearLodge Resort? We have done nothing to provoke anyone and we were enjoying our vacation until this morning when we were ready to ride and discovered long cut open seats on both of sleds? Such a senseless act. If I find the guilty party and will make them ride their sleds without their seats! This absolutely ruined our weekend of riding coming here from out of state. VERY DISGUSTING!!!!!!

I am sorry to hear that, it seems that people just care less of others property anymore. I am sure if it was there stuff they would be threatening to call the cops!!!! URGH that pi$$'$ me off.......hang around, kinda be quiet in the bar tonight and just LISTEN, I am sure the a$$hat will speak outta turn!!!!

I hate to hear about stuff like this. Why do people do this crap. I just don't understand it.

Sorry & suprised to hear that.

The place is out-of-the-way and should be full of fellow sledders. You'd think the guests there would respect each other's stuff. Good luck getting them fixed &/or finding out who did it.

Sorry to hear that. I used to try and understand these a$$holes. I decided it was impossible understand the mind of a adult that thinks like a 10 year old and is high on somekind of drug. I hope they get caught adn get what they deserve.

I don't know a thing about what happened or where it happened, but I would maybe, kinda', sorta', suspect greenies, It makes me real nervous to leave anything around here when participating in motor sports. Could it have happened elsewhere and you just didn't see it?

In bear lodge.. that would take some ballz to do.. you would think somebody would have had to see something.. Sorry to hear that.. I have never had anything happen to mine or any of my riding partners stuff there.. Hopefully the lodge will help you out in the search for finding the culpret... kinda looks bad for them

Whats more to that, someone really had balls to do them right in between gas pumps and front restaurant door. We just could not believe how it can happen... One lesson to learn and we will have to load sleds and unload sleds from my enclosed trailer from now on. How sad that person has to change their thinkings because of an incident..

Crime seems out of control lately...

Really sorry to hear man:( Seems pretty sad when we can't trust anything out of our sight anymore. Best of luck to get the guilty.

Sorry to hear about that. I do have to say that at Bear there are too many loud mouth drunks that do some pretty stupid things during the night. Thats the one thing that really up-sets me when I stay there. Last time I was there some drunks were racing their piped sleds though the lot at 2:30 A.M. I was supprised they did not kill themselves. Anyway I wish someone would catch those guys that wrecked your seats and your vacation.

Can you think of anyone you might have pissed off? Were any other sleds damaged? There's always lots of sleds in the parking lot at Bear Lodge You would think they would have damaged more then just your sleds. I hope you find these pieces of crap. I wonder if the lodge owners have ever thought of putting a web cam on their parking lot like togwotee lodge did?

Where

Where is that at?More and more things are happening to sledders stuff when parked It makes me nervous when going any where these days Greenies? that thought has crossed my mind as well.

Me thinks you will have to go undercover as a cross country skier to get to the bottom of this one:D

Sorry to hear about your seats. My money is on the greenies.

I dont know if I have ever seen a greeny in or around the place. If it was them, why wouldnt they do more?

I would guess some drunken stupid person.... why they would mess with someone elses stuff, I dont know. Maybe you did summn to piss someone off, and didnt even know it.

BearLodge is in the northern Big Horn mtns near Sheridan WY. Have been there quite a few times years ago. Was put off my feed a bit with the Lodge while back when I'm in the lobby just listening to the management talking about blacklisting some sledders because one of the wives complained about something. The place has some problems and could be just some drunk locals that hate out of towners tracking THEIR snow. And yes I have heard many times the wingnuts with the obnoxious make your ears bleed pipes in the parking lot. Out of curiosity what brand of sleds were slashed, that right there might be a good clue. I have been thinking about putting in one of the paging motorcycle motion detector alarms on my sled, easy to do now that I have a small battery for running my gauge when the sled isn't running. Would be good retribution to put the laser on my 9 mm on one of these scum bags and watch them make the snow yellow between their feet.

Good Luck in the Future

Sure it sucks that is happened but why would you let it wreck your vacation, slap some duck tape on there and ride the crap out of them. :D

I did but after few attempts to keep duct tape sticking on the seat failed so I pulled seat out and taped it around the seat but sure is very slippery when doing boondocking and riding in back country.

We know that we did not pissed anyone off at all. We are a bunch of good people having good times and mind our own businesses. Nothing out of ordinary. Yes there were lots of sleds parked but just two of our sleds got vandalized.
