WTF is up with the BOSS seats?

i ordered mine in early march.. paid in full sincce august.. patience is wearing thin

save yourself from having a stroke and cancel and find a different alternative. I just forwarded this email to kerry at boss to show them how well they are doing at keeping clients happy.lol
 
Even my springchecks haven't showed. They say the end of November....All otehr orders end of December. So right away add a month to that. Gotta take Boss with a grain of salt.
 
They do have new customer service but I have not seen much change. I do know that they had an issue with the foam maching going down which caused like 3 weeks of downtime. Not good this time of the year. However, I did get a letter from them saying everything is up and running smoothly now and they expect all order before oct out by the end of November. Some will be sooner. I expect your seat will come to you in the next few weeks if you can just hold on a little longer. I am not sure about seats that were ordered in the last month. I would not expect to get them right away but you should have them much before the season is over. The only exception could be a new model that is not designed yet or if they screw up or have trouble with your seat.

If you purchased a seat from me and would like a refund just let me know.

I too commend Randy on his customer service, he had the best prices I could find for a Boss, and even after they kept pushing the delivery time back and back, and the seat would not arrive before my first sheduled trip, Randy refunded my money so I could buy locally, paid alot more too.'

I ordered mine in September. Same story every time I call they say a couple of more weeks. Yesterday I called the dealer and they said that it was back ordered on the 3rd. WTF is up with that? I sent an e-mail to Kerry at boss but all I got back was an auto reply saying he won't be in the office until Monday. So now I'm hoping I get my seat by Christmas.:mad:
 
This kind of reminds me of BodybyNorthstar hoods.
Promises, decent product, waiting & frustration, cancelation.

Too bad - could be a successful company.
 
I'm curious if anyone knows the guys who own Boss and what there take is? Do they know and don't care? I read these thread about Boss all the time. After years of this same problem you'd think Boss would get the picture and fix the problem. Maybe demand is so great they don't care?

Mostly I'm curious because it makes me wonder how you can continue to provide this poor service and remain in business in the USA? It's not like their seats are some sort of secret that can't be duplicated by anyone in the business. Usually in a case like this someone with better business skills will step in and take away there market shares?????

It's been tried, problem is I got so busy making seats I started neglecting school(highschool and university) to make seats.....I had to take a step back and figure out what I was doing.....Education won out over money. There were other factors as well.....companies not paying after months and months etc etc......Much better off selling Boss seats on the side while doing what I'm doing right now.
I only make 2-3 seats a year for buddies. That's plenty for me. Don't wanna get into it hardcore like before.

I don't ***** too much because I'm not willing to change much. I only do a dozen Boss seats a year(give or take a couple) So it's a minimal part of my business. Guys know it's outta my hands.....what to do? I did love that fax we got last week though. Made MY day.

I got mine back after 3 months and took some teeth pulling and when I got it (after they charged me $79 for repairs and shipping) they didn't have the hole made to bolt it down. I just made the cut myself but c'mon, after all the BS they put me through it still wasn't 100%.
No more Boss anything from this guy.

Thanks for the props. We are very sorry the deal went like this. I have also seen most of the other few warranty claims we have had go really well.
 
As long as people keep buying the product Boss won't care. He is doing well now, imagine what that business could be if he was better at running it. Eventually patents will run out, and the product will be duplicated more efficiently with even a small measure of customer service and he will go under. Just give it time...
