WSSA VOTED TO SUPPORT LEGISLATION TO REQUIRE THE SEPARATE PURCHASE ON SNOWPARK PERMITS. AT THIS TIME YOUR SNOWPARK PERMIT ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR LICENSE PURCHASE. THIS IS THE SAME DIRECTION THAT THE SMAC BOARD (STATE GROOMING BOARD) RECOMMENDED GOING.

ALSO TERRY COLE REPORTED THAT PROGRESS ON THE FUEL CAP REMOVAL IS PROGRESS VERY NICELY IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION.

STATE PARKS WILL BE SENDING A SNOW SURVEY ON GROOMING AND FEES. WSSA WILL BE HELPING WITH THE COST.

THIS SEASON THERE WILL ONLY BE 12 WEEKS OF GROOMING DURING THE 16 WEEK GROOMING PERIOD. 12- 1 TO APRIL 1.

SNOW PARK PLOW WILL HAVE TO STAY IN BUDGET THIS SEASON, WHICH MEANS THERE WILL BE MORE SNOW IN THE SNOWPARKS MOST OF THE TIME. PEACOCK MEADOWS, KERR CAMP AND CRAWFISH WERE WAY OVER BUDGET LAST YEAR. SNOW FALL IS EXPECTED TO BE AS HEAVY AS LAST SEASON.

Whats the fuel cap removal??

It is my understanding that each registered sled entitles us to funds gleaned from gas tax.

However.

The funds that we recieve are limited (capped) to 145.00 per registered sled. Removing the cap would allow us to access more funds.
This is the reason that I have been registering every sled I owned (6) even the cabin mule. I gave away 3 of them after swearing the new owners to being sure to register them. :face-icon-small-dis

Well Mark, looks like the snoparks will have more snow this year . . . guess we'll be chainin' up alot of Fridays! :face-icon-small-ton
