I have the seat on a 04 switchback and i would say it is three and one half inches higher than the stock seat.I do not have a picture with me on it as i was out in WY by my self when i put the seat on. The seat is very well built and was very easy to put on.With the bag that they make to go with the seat you will have 3 to 4 times as much storage as the old seat. My craiggerbuilt fuel tank still fits on the sled. The sled is a 144. I want to get another one for my 04 edge that has a boss on it. Marc is helping me with front bracket on seat as sled has holz u coolers on it and they are under the front bracket holes. Nothing is in the way with the stock coolers.The seat makes the edge almost as nice as my dragon when going from seated to standing. I got mine from Paul at sled solutions.I hope this helps some of you with what you are going to get.

Burr, thanks for the info on the WRP seat. I'm considering one myself and the one thing I'm most interested in hearing is does the higher up riding position affect handling in turns at all? Does it make the sled feel tipsy in any way or maybe cause you to use more weight shifting to keep the skis on the ground? I'd also love to see some pics when you get a chance...

I just put one of the new boss seats on my 03 escape last weekend. I absolutely love this seat. The 03 escape had a taller than standard seat from the factory made by boss. This new seat is atleast 3-4 taller than that one was. Feels very much like sitting on a new dragon for a comparision. The seat top is very sticky and grippy which is great. The amount of storage in that seat is truely amazing. Took everything out of my old trunk as well as most everything out of my pack and have it all stuffed away with alot of room to spare. There has been some talk about the zippers having problems, and they are kind of small, but function well at this point. I think if you use any caution when using them once they are caked with snow and ice, they will hold up just fine. He knees sure felt better the morning after riding this weekend. The transition for sitting to standing is so much easier on the knees and legs with the added height.
JP-Only a very short ride on the sled with new seat on. There was not much snow in the south bighorns when i was out there.I think we have about as much in southern Mn as at my place in wy.The snow will come soon i hope. I will not bring sleds back to mn to ditch ride ever.No fun and to much stuff to hit. With the short ride i would say i like sled better in the corners as by sitting higher it was easy to lean and get more control of sled.It should make side hilling better allso.Theultrarider said the same thing as i did with his new seat.More storage-knees feel better-lots less work to stand.This is all good for my 55 year old body.The taller seat makes the older sleds more fun to ride.Like i said before its more like my dragon not as high but good on the edge sleds.The dragon will get less use till i feel i wont be stranded miles from truck.Polaris is trying but am dissapointed that everyone was a test pig again. Motors first now ecu. I better be done now before i get worked up!!!

I am going out to Big Horns today by myself so hope to find someone to ride with out there. I need to get the dragon broke in after update or see how long it is going to last.I have my camera along will get pictures. And will try to get some on site when i get back. I have edge with boss seat on it also that i can take pictures of to. It has risers on it. Switchback does not yet. Got to get going and beat the snow over the mountain !! They are starting to get more finally!!Later
Here's my buddies pro-x. Awesome setup, but the bag doesnt fit very well with the short tracks. Paul won't take the bags back either. It kinda sucks cause he didnt have pix of it so we might have been able to see it would not work, but I also understand it is a custom order.

On a 2005 700 RMK the 4" WRP seat is 22" above the running boards at the point where I normally stand and while I didn't measure the 700 before I changed the seat, a 2002 600 RMK seat is 15 1/2" above the boards at that point making the new seat 6 1/2" higher than stock.
I'm wondering what the measurement would be on the 3" rise seat

That dose look good. Wounder what it would look like on my holz tunnle hmm. Thats funny the wrp seata are cheaper then a boss and there nicer and boss seat seats are more around 502 bucks with a tail light lmao! They would both lool good id say..

I wish that the seat came out a couple of years ago. I put a R&M lightning seat on my 04 800 RMK Edge. The R&M seat is nice and light but cost a lot more that theWMP seat. I'm 6-6 and it sure has helped my knees out for sitting to standing. I'd go for the WRP Seat if I had to buy another.

Just saw this post and thought I would add that I still like my wrp seat very much. I did put a 4inch olies riser on the sled that made it better. I did put a skinz on one of my other sleds.They are both good but different . My dragon still has factory seat on it. I just got a other 04 edge that has a boss on it that I will be selling and a wrp will take its place . This year sucks 4 sleds as I have put on 30 miles on so far and that was in nov checking riser out on the switchback.We need more snow !
