WRP Gauge relocate review

Looking at getting this and been doing some reading, was just curious if anyone has had these bend or wreck when rolling sled over (say when getting unstuck) in harder snow? I really like the idea of the relocate and venting. Also can I put it back to stock without extra holes?

Thanks in advance!

They are pretty sturdy. I run one. I'm pretty sure they could hold the weight of the sled. Shoot, the hood or guge would byst im sure before the guage holder.

WRP is nice they make a good product i love mine! but you have to drill your own holes to mount it, very simple and its a must, good spot to hang your goggels when your takin a break thaws them out.

If you zoom in on this pic you can see the gauge mounted on the sled. Hope this helps.

I have had both. IMO this one is better.

Just to clarify on my response. IMO the Wild child lift is better (stronger) than the WRP lift. I was responding to the coment before mine with the link to Wildchilds product. Sorry Kurt for not making sence on that.

I actually just ordered a wild child as I do think it will do what I need. Plus its local and at a great price.

Thanks guys for your input.

just installed mine today, directions are great!

I also drank a bunch of beer last night and got the polaris tether cord installed, lol

The WRP seems to be a great unit so far for the price, I like how its a monster vent for under the hood

How are these two gauge relocators holding up when you roll the sled over to get it unstuck? I'm leaning towards getting one when I get my turbo. It will have a bracket on the outside that houses the boost and AFR gauges. I'm just concerned on them not lasting long with a few roll overs?

I just installed a gauge lifter on my 2013 pro. I used 3M body moulding tape, no holes to drill just clean with actone and stick. It has been a week sitting outside and inside still holding.
My reasoning it should hold because it work on the trim on you car why not a 1lb gauge.
Will follow up on how it works this winter.

I have the WildChild bracket with the low profile windshield and haven't had a problem rolling it over. Using tape might be a different story, depending on your windshield height. Also adjust the bolt that holds the two halves of the bracket together - have it tight enough to hold your angle, but loose enough to give if it had to and that should help in a roll over. I have had it change angles on me once rolling it in shallower snow, but everything else was intact.

I wrapped the connectors in the back nice and tight as well with electrical tape, since now they will be exposed - especially if you do roll it.

You can see the gauge much easier, especially when standing. Some models actually double as a vent.

What makes the two so diffrent? They just postion the gauge to view better, ones got mesh other vent holes, ones higher price ones less. Is one engineered better than the other?
