Wrap Removal and Replacement

Ok, so I bought a sled with a wrap on it. Per the discussion below I would like to Remove the current wrap and replace it with one....... oh say... more ... SUBTLE. LOL
Anyway, anyone ever done this? Whats the procedure. Do you just rip the old one off and put the new one on? Or does all the adhesive need to be removed? If so whats the best adhesive remover?

Heat gun to warm the decals slightly , peel them off . Arctic fx and other company's sell a kit with glue removes , and a prep spray as well as a spray if you ep want to do them wet. I find doing them wet easier , but I then use the heat gun gently to heat the vinyl and press it on with their applicator .

All depends on the material they used. Some cheap crap peels off very easy and may or may not leave any glue behind. The stuff I use on my race car sticks so hard it will pull the paint off the metal before the glue lets go!

Sometimes heat makes it even more of a mess, room temp may work better. Eric

Its a Lime Nine wrap. The vinyl is quite stout, however it also seems to peel off very easily without heat. Also seems to leave enough adhesive behind.
