would you buy the nitro again?

have a chance to buy a nitro for a pretty good deal with a 2 yr warranty. coming off a 2001 RMK. have heard problems with hand warmers, track folding over; would you have still bought the sled again?

Hell yeah! If you like things like reliability, good fuel mileage, not burning expensive injection oil, and the aftermarket possibility to blow away any other brand made while maintaining reilability the Nytro is what your looking for.

yah, i'd buy it again. I still have my '03 ProX that I long tracked and did all the fun stuff too and the Nytro is so much more fun.

From time to time I have to work at climbs that I didn't have to on the Poo, but I can pull the Nytro over back and forth and turn a tough climb into 3 or 4 relatively easy sidehills with lines between rocks I wouldn't have thought of straightlining on the Poo.

Plus, this is a 4 year or possibly more sled for me that's gonna get turbo'd and go on a diet. It may seem like a lot of money, and it is, but comes out about the same as buying\owning an '08 XP for two years, selling it and buying whatever they come out with in '10 or '11.

And I know whatever BRP, Cat or Poo come out with in '10 or '11 won't be able to touch my lite weight\turbo Nytro.

Night and Day difference! You will love it. Even if it feels really weird at first. You will be glad you bought it. Put gas in it and go. Break it in right and it will last for years.

Enjoy:)

The Yamaha handwarmers suck to say the least. The track is also a problem for folding over........but, those are the two worst things about the sled and if you look at ANY of the new sleds, you will find a laundry list of bigger problems.

If you want a sled with AMAZING hop up ability, awesome stock reliability, good fuel mileage, reliability, a nice ride, agility, reliability, durability, quiet, and did I mention reliable?

As stated above, this is a sled that you could buy and keep for 4 years...Buy a couple gallons of oil a couple filters, a few belts and be done.:D

Great sled, would def buy again. My Rev is sitting in the garage (won't start for some reason and I having to much fun playing with my Nytro to dig into it right now, mabey over the summer). Handles better, starts every time just needs a different track.

Like Friscprox said, throw on a hair dryer and nothing from the other manufactures in the next 3/4 years will touch it. Think about it, whatever you buy, its going to drop in value very fast. Your going to lose a big chunk of change (probably about the same amount that a turbo would cost) when you trade in your 08 for an 09 or 10.

I bought it as a back up sled and now it's my main ride (and it's still stock).:D

What if BRP, Cat or Poo come out with a turboed 4 stroke?:D

Seriously though, a riding buddy of mine loves his new Nytro. I think I might pick up a used turbo Nytro out of the states next year. Boost is addicting hehe:cool:

Havent bought one yet, but if I could I would buy one for the whole family. I love this sled and the Yamaha technology alot. I want this sled really bad. It probably wont happen for a year or so but hey who cares it only means an even lighter factory sled.

Some people mention it being a four year sled. I am lucky if I get 300- 400 miles a year on a sled, so I figure that id most likely die before I hit the 10000km oil change.

Im gonna get a phazer for the kids and wife and update to a Nytro myself. I bet the four strokes will get us out more and be way more fun than the 2 strokes.

I'm not impresed with nytro in stock form. Hope it's better after I change the tunnel and track. The stock tunnel and track suck. I rode a 163 rev xp today and in stock form it rips. The snow we where ridding in was waist deep.

Thats pretty funny mini.I was sitting in the house last night and could here some cats fighting out side I think they might have been atacking the nytro in the back of the truck.

Funjunkie,,,,i think it would have been better not answer that last one.Too bad you're not happy with your sled,,,,does it just need some set up or is just not doing what you expected? I think if you compared to an equal machine instead of one that is not in the same class ( 163 to 153 is a big difference,135 to 150 hp ) that should be the comparison.
