i blew my sled up last year left it apart "top end off" well i moved it about a month ago and it changed the angle where the water drained, and the right crank case filled up with water, what kind of money am i looking at to fix the bearings, what kind of process is it to get the rods off. just never seen the rods taken off, i have a local guy here that will do it, he does 20-30 of them a year. do these have a twisting problem like the old ves motors???

Worst case is that the bearings are rusted and the hard parts are pitted and need to be replaced. I've had 2 customers do that in the past couple of years... got water in the bottomend and didn't drain it out. In both cases, new cranks were a cheaper option than trying to fix the old ones.

well it hasnt been in for very long i know that i found out its going to cost me at the most $350 to get new bearing and the crank pressed

Sounds like its toast, you better just sell me your twin pipes and move on:beer;. I would definitly plan on taking it apart and replacing the bearings on that side and maybe even both sides while you have it apart. Or if the new crank option is cheaper go that route. Easier to do it now than take the chance and have to dismantle it in the middle of the season.

i know man defintily replace all bearings i bought this sled so i can ride it but stock sucks lol:D
