Well Im just wondering if the road past the Wolverine Mine has been plowed to the bus's at km 35 (approx). Also last year there was a sluff on the road about 5km before the cabin and you usually had to dig a 200meter stretch by hand to get across. Wondering how this sluff in the road is this year?
We usually unlaod at the buses or before the first bridge coming in from the mine side. We always run into other sledders coming in from the other direction but I can never figure out where you guys park and where the trail comes in. How do you get there from Tumbler? I am assuming you go in past the old Quintette site. Am I right?
You can get in from the MUrray FSJ at km 17 you unload take your first right and just keep going. BUt I dont think the trail is broke yet as you have to go up a creek inthe trees. It comes out just pass the sluff in the road I mentioned on my last post.
So can you can get to the cabin from the Wolverine FSR with no problems?????I think that the sluff in the road may deter alot of people as you sometimes have to dig your way through it...

I haven't been there this year but 3-4 times last year and we came in from the wolverine mine side every time. Never had a problem with any sluffs. Is the trail from the Murray side marked very well? I would assume it's pretty straight forward once you find it. We always ride to little cabin/outhouse at the Y in the road. I forget which km it is, 30 something. Then if you carry on we usually hook up with guys coming in from the Murray side up in that big bowl with the lake in the bottom. Not sure of the name. I could see the trail direction of where everyone came from but never took the time to follow it out. Dont usually go to the hills for a trail ride.

snowes about 10- inches to a foot in dawson so wolverine plrobly is going to be good.
