Wise River/Widsom riding questions

I've been riding a few times near the odell lake area. There seems to be some pretty nice riding there, and I am wondering if there are many avalanches in that area. I'm mainly talking about the ridgeline just west of odell lake. There are alot of marks on the hills, and I saw an avalanche kit in a tree. Just looking for some input or suggestions when riding this area.

Yes there are avys up there. Seen em first hand. Some day there will be an avalanche victim up there.

If the new travel Plan for that area passes wont be no riding up there anymore anyways. But yes there are avy's there. Avy gear hanging close by in a tree

Anybody know if the BIg Holes area is still open....for the season.
Heard they close it in April.

I saw a couple avy's when I rode that area. And alot of signs there of previous avy's. Notice alot of the chutes/hillsides do not have tree's on them for a reason.
