Wiring Question..O2 sensor connection.

Took my stock Pipe off the other day and found this wire setup on the O2 connection. Doesn't look stock. Is it just a extension or a resistor of some type. 2015 pro 800.

Does a SLP pipe require a resistor? I bought this sled used from a person who didn't ride it much or know much about it. He said it had a head on it. Which is why I took the pipe off to pull the head cover off to see what head it had on it. I had a few Detonation issues last year when riding. Head turned out to be a PAR 13.6. I ride from 6000 ft and up so i am sure that the head was causing the detonation issues. Will be running some race fuel from know on. With the stock pipe can I remove the resister?

I know in their catalog it shows that they use a resistor for low elevation applications. I don't see why you would need a resistor with a stock pipe. As for the head, I don't have any det issues with mine but always try to mix 30ish percent avgas.

I was guessing that it was something like that. It may have come from lower altitude because it has 62 gram belly buster weights in it. Which is pretty heavy for this altitude. I will call SLP tomorrow and ask them.
