alright I'm getting ready to wire my shed - its got metal on the interior walls and the wiring will be in conduit / EMT.

What I'm wondering is has anyone used a "raceway" type wiring that they could recommend? A friend mentioned Wiremold - I looked at there website and there was 8 million options....

Any suggestions?

What do you need to know? I should be able to help you. I have installed quite a bit of the stuff.

EMT is a raceway. Why do you need something better (i mean worse)? It is just a shop right? Do you mind exposed conduit running down the walls to plugs, ect? With a good bender, pipe is the best way to do that kind of install, for one reason it is more resistant to damage. Yes wiremold does have a little more sofistcated look, but thats for indoor decor. On a side note I don't think wiremold is allowed in that location.

I know I'm new here, but I would have to second the plain ol' conduit...easy to work with, and relativly cheap. Plus, for a shed or shop...conduit is much less likely to be munched on by critters.
