Anybody been riding out of Winter Park yet?
Was thinking of taking the daughter out for her first time on her own sled.
Was thinking about Church Park on the West side of Winter Park.
The fools creek snotel says 20". Is Church Park good for a trail ride / shakedown yet?

Thanks,
Matt

The road in is fairly rock free-don't go off trail- but be very careful when you get to the big meadow-lots of springs/rocks.

Let us know how the ride was,

The best way to access Corona pass is to turn east on Lakota Trail, off of Hwy. 40. Take the road up and you can park along the road to access the trail head.

Where does one park the trailer and ride from to ride Winter Park?

The Church Park riding is out of Fraser--not Winter Park and is a little hard to find so go to the Visitor's Center at 120 Zerex St,, Fraser and get a mountain bike map.

The parking for the Church Park trail head is a few miles past the dump which is accessed from US 40, west over the RR tracks. I don't remember the FS route but get a map 'cause you can ride within a few miles the Climax Mine east of US 9 in Summit Cty.--lot of spur roads in CP.
