Will Walker Evans Coilover Piggy Backs Fit a 2009 RMK

The shocks I am looking at are intended for the 2010 RMK. Mine is a 2009. I know the stock shocks are the same. But are there any clearance issues in the shock tower area if they are installed on a 2009?

There shouldn't be, the 09 and 10 are exactly the same up front.

They fit. I have them on my 07 with no issues, and it has even tighter clearance than the 09 & 10's.

The piggy back coilers are meant for the assault or dragon sp, as they have longer A arms. My friend installed them on his 09 standard rmk and they kinda fit but at full compression they hit on the on the upper shock mounts. I saw them after he took them off to rebuild and both had gouges in them from contact. Hope this helps.

Walker Evans also makes them for the RMK.

if you re locate the holes, move them out with milling they will fit fine

I too have them on my on shift 136, not sure if there is a difference but don't think so, mine fit fine and no gouging.
