Will the cat 046 belt work on a pro?

I have heard that the cat 046 belt will work on the pro. has any one tried this?
Basically the cat belt is half the cost of the polaris belt. But i don't want to buy the cat belt if it doesn't work.

NO! you need a 048, michelle at Oregan Trail Sports came up with this, call her 541-523-3500.

The cat 048 works just as good as the pol-115. I've put about 700 miles on 2 pros with the 048, thumbs up. Its a little softer compound, might even grip better.

Yes, 048.......Brad Story I believe tried it one day when there were no other options and we have quite a few guys running them with great success!!

048 been running it since day 1 on my pro. Pulls same tach as sleds with polaris belts and actually seems to maybe perform slightly better. Half the cost its definitely worth it.

Yep 048 for me and my riding partners on our pros. It takes a little more to break them in. They like to slip slightly at wot before they are broke in, but after that they work good and less than half the cost of the 1115.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Cat belts don't work on new Cats but do on a Polaris?

I have got to give Brad some crapola..All these years I thought he was the sled guru extraordinaire (hell I even traveled a pretty mile to have him work on one of my old turbos way back in the dark ages) and now I find out he's been poaching the insite from Michelle!
