I bent an arm early last season and there wasn't an arm to be found. Now the 2013 is getting a new type of A arm, anybody know if they plan to stock dealers at all with these new A-arms?

Don't wait order them tomorrw then if you don't need them you can sell them when all the dealers are out. :face-icon-small-ton
Better yet, don't wreck or let rocks and other objects jump up and destroy them.

I think I am going to order at least a set of lowers. I am a firm believer that those rocks are not staitionary. They wait for me to get close then jump as I pass over them. :yell:

Does anyone know if the 11 & 12 arms and shocks would wrk on a 13? I know the 13 shocks are shorter but could u transfer the whole front end if u did shocks and arms?

We will have a few sets up for sale as soon as our 2013's arrive. You can also sell your stockers up front and pay a little to get the Zbroz. We keep replacements in stock and all ours are powdercoated the wrinkle black that looks awesome.

Just buy and extra set and keep them in the truck. I've had guys call me looking for arms because no dealers around here keep them in stock. Sucks when you bend an arm bad and cant get one for days or weeks.

Im with you one this on, been there done that. I always carry a set of lowers.

Heck I've been carrying a full set of spares around lately.

Do yourselves a favor and buy a tie rod end or 2 for the uppers where they attach to the spindle and the bolt that goes down through it and throw them in the truck as well. It's hard to ride out when the upper is flapping in the wind and the ski is hanging by the tie rod and a mangled lower arm.

Here are the 2012 PN's

7519246 SCR-SH-M10X1.5X45 12.9 ZOD
7061178 ROD END-M12X2.812 30ø

Don't ask me how I know this:)

Before I ordered my 2013 Pro RMK LE I called Cooke City to see if they will be stocking A-arms for them. They assured me they would. Wji, coolx2, and fuledya are exactly right. I could have bought them cheap at Hay Days last year but dumb bell me didn't. First trip to Cooke City last year I bent one and ended up paying a lot more.:face-icon-small-fro
I also remember last year someone here on Snowest selling a set of upper and lowers (4) for $400. I would think you will be able to get new ones here on Snowest. As soon as the 2013's come out people will be buying after market ones and selling their stock A-arms. :clock:
I have also learned not to throw the old ones away. Twice now I have been able to repair them. Not for permanent use but just a temporary fix for me or anyone else that may need one.:face-icon-small-hap

Also keep in mind, last year was a very bad early (and middle, and late) season for snow throughout most of the west... can't say Poo could have predicted that, and not surprised that they ran out of A arms.

Myself, I went through more A arms last year than I had the last 5 years together. (And I DID have spares... but still ran out)

I,m hoping never to bend one but when it does, lol, I hope the aluminum doesn't crack so I can rebuild it.
Some have said it will be difficult to do or jig up but I don't see that. Simple 2 tube piece with a dowel to locate it as the glue dries. Straight lines too.
I can see me chop sawing two pieces of tube, notching one end while you fit it on the chassis and tig-tack in place. Remove, finish welding, install bushings and glue it ( I really like the glue idea). The home method so you can be ready for tomorow morning install after glue and paint dries.
We're not building a piano.

The aftermarket can build a jig and put out 100,s but will wonder how to make it expensive. So here's an idea lol. Cast the frame mounts out of aluminum so a repair becomes just one straight tube (or two lol). Now you can sell 100% aluminum arms because they will be so simple to repair. Pick an alloy for the tube that bends before cracks (no welding anyway) so you can ride out and when you get home some heat and glue and it's as good as new.

When I saw the Poo a-arms design I thought it was the neatest thing since a-arms came out (from a home repair point of view). Simple, light, good job Polaris.
