hey guys i need a new track for my apex and can;t really budget for a new one. ideally i would like a 162x16x2.5 but not really around, but i can get some 162x15x2.5 for a good price. will the narrow track really hurt the capability of my apex and would i be better off getting another maverick again cause i can find lots my of those they are 16 wide and got the 2.25 lug. my sled isn;t turboed or anything just some lite parts on it.

also drivers are going to be changed same time as track. if i go to a 2.5 paddle do i have to go to a smaller driver? if so 7 or 8 tooth? Will smaller drivers affect track speed?

Go with the narrow track, it handles nicer than the 16 wide makes a nicer carving and side-hilling sled. Most any other track will be better than the Mav anyway.

cheers.......

Yup, a drag race track is better than the pos Maverick.........lol

how much will the 15 wide track hurt the sled though when it comes to climbing? I had a phazer for trenching i don;t want the apex to be the same

Slap on that 162x15x2.5 camo extream and drop to a 19 top gear..... or run a 19top, 42 bottom, re-clutch and it will climb anything.:D
It will kill some top end speed but who cares?????
