Will M8 Exhaust Sensor workon M1000???

Buddy had the exh. sensor go out on his 07 M1000. Borrowed one from HairyMark from his 08 M8. Buddy still has runability issues, he says one cylinder was rich and one was lean. He has a BD box that flashed "injector error" at initial start up but never again. Worked OK on the trail up but then bogged at altitude 4-6K all day.

Could the M8 sensor be the problem or should I be looking else where. Thanks in advance. Happy New Year. EW

sounds like you may have a problem with the bd box check the black conectors on the bd wire harness

I've been running the sensor off my wifes 08 M8 in my 08 M1000 for a year now, and she has been running mine.

The sensor is the same part number for both M8 and M1000

Thanks for the help guys, I'm going to tear into this thing tomorrow, so any other ideas on things to check would be much appreciated.
Im going to go through all the wires and connections and going to check the injectors for the same resistance to see if those are good and then maybe reeds and go from there......
