Anyone out there in internet land know if a tunnel for a 04 1M will fit the older ZRT/Thundercat bulkhead?

isnt the zrt bulkhead the same between 96-01? cause im pretty sure its one of those years, I'm not sure though. i wanna say there is a gap that is between the tunnel and the bulkhead if you put a newer tunnel on an older bulkhead

You could get the tunnel to fit on a '99 or newer T-cat or ZRT with a little work. They were AWS V. Earlier than that.... anything is possible with enough work, but is it worth it?

The ZRT1 chassis was built from 95-98 and I believe they all had a steel bulkhead. The ZRT2 chassis was built from 99-02 and they had a aluminum bulkhead, that was very similar to the ZR3 bulkhead. So I would say if u were using a 99-02 bulkhead it would be a fairly easy project. I'm sure u could use the steel bulkhead as anything is possible but y would u want to use such a heavy one, when there motors r heavy already.

PS u could ask Idcatman1 or Idcatman3 and they could give u some more insight into this project.

thats the question i was wondering....pretty sure if you got the tunnel at the right price and you wanna go longer with that chassis anyways then it may be worth it.

does the tunnel have anything to do with the the version of front suspension? so far i havent run into any issues between the tunnel and the bulkhead..

no no no i dont need a bulkhead...im trying to sell some stuff and getting information....pretty sure hes gonna read this thread anyways.

Thanks for the info boys
