I was wondering if you can put a x seat from a 800 right on to a 05 1000 with out any trouble (I think I can, not sure though). Also how much lighter is it, I know it probably isnt too much less but is it taller too?

I think the two tunnels are the same between the Rev & the RT. I just put a seat from a '07 summit X onto a '04 800 summit. You have to remove two chunks of aluminium on the arms that bolt from the tunnel up to where they connect under the fuel tank plastic cover peice. Putting on an X seat is a royal PITA

$175 is a good deal for the seat. Its not so much how long it took, but how little space you have to put on the nuts inside the plastic cover. Make sure you have a swivel for your ratchet and loads of patience
Does anyone know if the tanks on the Rev and RT are the same?
