Will '04 King Cat gears/chain fit into my 02 800 MC???

Hello All:

I blew the chain case out of my spare sled, an 02 800 MC with a 144. I am considering purchasing a set of stock gears from an 04 900 King Cat. Will this set-up fit into my existing gear box? I am assuming I will have to buy an 04 King Cat chain. I understand this is going to gear my sled down, do you think it will be too much? I dont need the sled to go over 60 really... kinda a spare/friend sled.

The chaincases are the same, so the guts will fit.

How much different is the gearing? I would think you wouldn't have any problems.

spend a few extra bucks and upgrade to the hyvo chain and gears....much stronger. I broke several stock chains on my king cat.
