Wife needs all new gear ... HELP!

Just an idea... but it might be a good idea to take her to Haydays. That way she can see all of the gear from all of the different brands and try them all on before you buy. That is where I have bought most of my gear. Not to mention you can get some smokin deals.

That would be great, if she didnt want to ride this year.
I am not sure exactly what she is struggling with now. I think she has boots, gloves, pants and pack picked out...
Helmet I thought was a stone cold lock, but she gets a few minutes at work to surf the net, and its all up in the air again.
Coat... I THINK she has it down to 3, HMK(Action Jacket), Scott(Womens Bombshell TP), and FXR(Womens Crushed Inked). I think the FXR looks the best, but I am unsure how good of a coat it is.
On top of that she was on some sledchicks website the other day and they were pushing 686 gear. I have no idea, but from what I can tell its snowboard gear, which might work out fine. It just makes me a little nervous.

Just last month I purchased a snowboard jacket. My Klim (men's small) is still in great shape, but I been wanting something that was a bit more stylish. Sled gear is making progress, but nothing caught my eye enough to make me want to purchase new when I already had a perfectly good Valdez jacket (and I don't need *poofy*). So I had been waiting.
Then I see a pic on here of gal wearing a jacket I knew I had to have. The rider endorsed it highly, and I trusted her on that (good gal, aggressive rider). It's a DC snowboard jacket, and when it arrived, I was most impressed with it. Had I not gotten a good endorsement on this specific brand/model, I wouldn't have bought it....as I, like others, don't have money to just toss away.
