simmons gen 2 are by far the widest i think 10inches.

You guys like the fattt skis? How does it do for sidehilling?
great flotation in powder, better for heavier sleds, high speed sidehilling is no problem, they are a harder to pull over if going slow on a sidehill, but who does that anyway. great for countersteering, really lay you over.
What about tree bashing? Kind of wide to fit between narow gaps?
No wonder the ski's on Brad Story's sled never touch the ground, those things could make a sled go airborn if you go too fast lol!!

Just mount them with the skis in af far as you can best skis I have found yet...I paid 625 from DCI glad to hear the price has dropped as they are 429 in the states
Guys, these skis are awesome! I was worried they would be hard to side hill with, but they actually hold a side hill better than the stock ski's. They are not so much wider that you are not gonna make it through tight spots and when riding the sled, you dont even notice them as being big wide skis, other than your sled is floating much more than sinking in the snow. I would highly recomend them for lighter sleds as well. just think of all the times you guys are plowing a path all day. these bad boys keep ya up a bit more! On the rev like I have, you can set them in more and they really are not that much wider than your stock skis set out. NOTICE the spindles in my pic above and the width difference on the out side of them.
