Why?

Why is their so many threads that ask this sort of question?

Current year sled of any sort against a sled that isn't even produced yet? So in other words if you go to any of the sled categories or Mountain deep powder you will see people saying: "2009 whatever against 2008 whatever and so on."

Why not ask this "what's better, a 2015 Ski-Doo against a 2001 Polaris?" It's just stupid and so many people suck it up and actually reply to it.

I'm sure I may have a while ago but I've just been looking through and it's on and on and on with that type of deal. It's almost as bad as people saying they know 3 guys with exactly the same problem as they are having.

People trying to justify their purchase. I've been there, but since I bought my turbo apex I wont be asking that type of question anytime soon.:p

Lure:confused: I really wasn't looking at it that way. I just am sick of people asking that question all the time with which is better when one of the things in question probably isn't even on the assembly line at the time of posting.

i agree on sled that havnt been made yet but for instance. if someone is asking what the differnces and why its better say between an 08 m8 and an 09 m8 there is tons of things they have improved or changed on the sled. True it hasnt been offered to the general public until snowchecks get here but there is still camparing and contrasting to do. I do think this helps out many people on the purchase of a sled. It has helped me too. Just my 2 cents.:beer;:D

They just want someone else to blame if they are disappointed with their 10-12k purchase, people are becoming apprehensive about spending all that money and then facing durability, performance and uncooperative dealer/manufacturer issues.

I only can hope that with the current state of affairs that there will still be any manufacturers left in 2015 !!!!!!!!

rj , you're right, i think that june should be all about who, july could be what, august say where, and sept would rock with when, as when's it gona snow. lol.

good question RJ, probably for the same reason that people drive with tailgates up and a sled in the back.

It is just because there's too many wannabes out there that are posers and just wannabe like the next guy, or their favorite racer. $10-12k to spend and don't know how to spend it either, and once they do spend it they'll just complain about what they bought later in the winter.
I just buy what I want and know that is reliable for what I need it for, and 3k miles later it still runs strong. It isn't the most expensive out there either like the D8 that everyone wants to impress the next guy with. That's is just what is wrong on the forums, just want to spend more than someone else and then end up complaining about it.
